The Alaskan Malamute Illustrated Breed Standard Below you will find the Official Alaskan Malamute Illustrated Standard. This document was created by the Alaskan malamute Club of America (AMCA) and was supplied to the American Kennel Club (AKC) to be used for "Judges Education". The following Illustrated Breed Standard for the Alaskan Malamute contains both the exact text of the AKC approved breed standard, along with the AMCA approved commentary regarding the official standard text.
